The Vietnamese Health Professionals Association of North Texas (VHPA) was organized in 1978-79. It started as a small social gathering for Vietnamese physicians and their spouses to meet and exchange ideas.
Today, VHPA is a non-profit organization consisting of 150 active members practicing within the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and podiatry. VHPA promotes health education and preventative health screenings for the Vietnamese communities of North Texas through health fairs and charitable events. |
