Vietnamese Health Professional Association of Dallas/Ft. Worth (VHPA DFW)

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all – old and new – to another great year with the Vietnamese-American Health Professionals Association (VHPA aka Y-Nha-Duoc) of North Texas. We have grown from a handful of few physicians in the late 1980s to become one of the main organizations that benefit the growing community of Vietnamese in the North Texas by promoting health awareness, providing free health care screenings, participating in charitable events, and developing quality continual medical education and networking opportunities to the Vietnamese healthcare professionals. Some of our activities include: hosting Community Health Fairs with local organizations, offering financial and academic scholarships for Outstanding High School Students in conjunction with the Vietnamese Professional Society (VPS), hosting the National Convention for the Vietnamese American Medical Association (1998 & 2006), participating in Medical Missions to Vietnam and Cambodia with the World Health Ambassador program.
